about me

I moved to Cambridge in 1998 and live just outside the city with my family.

technology

I design and build for the web, using research, imagination and collaboration to produce user-centred designs that make people and businesses more effective.

My experience spans UX design and front-end development for a leading knowledge management SaaS product, bespoke web applications for agency clients, and end-to-end design, development and support of websites for classical musicians and musical organisations.

music

In 2003 I graduated from Anglia Ruskin University with an honours degree in Music.

Before pursuing a career in technology from 2010, I spent seven years managing artists and projects for one of the UK's top classical music management agencies. During this time I built and nurtured successful working relationships with a wide variety of international artists and organisations.

I have been singing with Cambridge Chorale for over ten years, giving concerts in London, Cambridge and the South East, as well as touring in Europe and recording.

feedback

“Rob has the rare ability to make the complex simple and easy to understand. He worked efficiently, effectively and cheerfully, making great suggestions, giving me the confidence to make changes and stepping in when I got stuck. Rob is in a different league from other website designers with whom I have worked; I recommend Rob most highly!”
